Keep all electric and hydraulic connections clean!
Check the connecting points for dust, foreign matter and moisture before instal-
lation. This also applies to protective caps and bridging plugs.
Use the available slinging points!
Holders are attached to many equipment parts for slinging (e.g. auxiliary hoist or
counterweight). Only sling the equipments parts to these holders.
Observe the checklists for rigging work!
Make sure that all necessary preceding rigging work has already been carried out
according to the checklist used before starting a rigging step. Otherwise there will
be a risk of damage due to requirements not met!
When unrigging, pay attention to the transport condition!
Always unrig the truck crane to such an extent that it is in proper condition for the
subsequent, planned transport. Bring all equipment parts into the specified
transport condition;

Walking on the truck crane
Only use the access aids provided to climb on and off your truck crane. Do not
use parts of the crane as access aids. Only use the hand grips provided for hold-
ing. Never support yourself on control levers, consoles, hoses or cables. Always
make sure you have a secure footing and a firm hold, especially in wet conditions.
Never jump off your truck crane, unless in an emergency.
Always use a ladder for work above head height or use the rigging hook,
if available.
Only walk on those parts of the truck crane that are equipped with appropriate
tread grids and railings and therefore ensure safety. If there are folding railings,
unfold them every time you walk on them!
