Information on wheel change
Carry out a wheel change at a point where the road is as level as possible. The
chosen location should not impede the traffic or pose any danger to you when
changing the wheel.
Only mount the original spare wheel of your truck crane or an approved wheel of
the same size and load-bearing capacity.
Check the wheel rim, tyre, wheel nuts and wheel
studs for damage before mounting the spare
wheel. Only mount parts that are not damaged.
A wheel for a truck crane is heavy and could injure
you. Move back quickly if the wheel looks like it is
going to fall.
Have someone help you change the wheel
whenever possible.
You can use a chain hoist or the truck crane to lift
the spare wheel. For the precise wheel change
procedure, observe the information in the sup-
plied
operating manual
!
Retighten the wheel nuts of the mounted wheel after a driving distance of about
50 km and after 150 km. Torque;

Tilting the driver's cab
On some truck cranes of
Manitowoc Crane Group Germany GmbH
the driver's cab
must be tilted to access the engine.
Before you tilt the driver's cab, the main boom must be raised sufficiently in order
that the driver's cab does not hit the main boom when tilted.
To be able to raise the main boom and lower the hook block in the event of an
engine malfunction, single-engine truck cranes are equipped with a correspond-
ing emergency activation. Depending on the equipment, there may also be
several emergency operation options.
