This camera's sync terminal is an X contact.
When using MF or M grade flash bulbs, set the shutter speed to
1/30 sec. or slower for MF bulbs and 1/15 sec. or
slower for M bulbs.
WARNING
Using flash units specifically designed for other makes of cameras
may damage the camera's internal mechanisms if connected to
the hotshoe. Use a flash bracket and connect the flash unit to the
camera's Sync Terminal via a sync cord.
When using flash units with a flash duration of 1/500 sec. or longer,
set the shutter speed to 1/30 sec. or slower.
After changing the batteries, or using an external power supply, check the camera's
date and time indicators and adjust if necessary.
1. Turn the Shutter Release Mode Selector Lever to
"S" to turn on the power.

When the Front Dial is turned clockwise, the functions switches to month, day, year, hours,
and minutes.
