3. Focus the lens.
Turn the Focusing Ring (A) to adjust focus.
When the subject is in focus, the Focus Mark
will be lit in the viewfinder.

When you install a lens with a Focus Mode Selector, you can change between
auto­ and manual­focus modes without having to change the camera body's
Focus Mode Selector.
To photograph in auto­focus mode, select the Auto Focus Mode on both the
lens and the camera's Focus Mode Selector.
To photograph in manual­focus mode, set the lens to Manual Focus; you
do not need to change the camera's Focus Mode Selector to "M".
