NOTE:
For best performance of auto header height control (AHHC), perform these procedures with center-link set to D.
When setup and calibration are complete, adjust center-link back to desired header angle. Refer to Header Angle in
header operator
’
s manual for instructions.
1.
Ensure center-link is set to D.
2.
Press AUTO MODE button (A) until AHHC light (B) is illuminated.
3.
Press and hold CAL1 button (C) until you see following lights flash: raise header (D), lower header (E), tilt auto
mode (F), and AHHC (B).
4.
Fully lower header, and continue to hold HEADER LOWER button for 5
–
8 seconds to ensure adapter has
separated from header.
5.
Press CAL2 button (G) until lower header light (E) stops flashing, and release it when raise header light (D)
begins flashing.
6.
Raise header to its maximum height (ensure header is resting on down-stop pads).
7.
Press CAL2 button (G) until raise header light (D) turns off.
NOTE:
The following steps are applicable only to 2005 and newer combines with Smartrac feeder house.
