Troubleshooting Steps for Faults 400 thru 403
1.
With Ignition switch in OFF position, remove ECU power by pulling the ECU circuit breaker. Wait 10s
before resetting. Is fault active? If no, go to step 3. If yes, go to step 2.
2.
Contact Lycoming Engines to correct the calibration files and reflash the ECU. Is fault still active? If
no, go to step 3. If yes, replace the ECU.
3.
Clear Service faults using the FST by following the steps outlined in the “Access the Field Service
Tool” section in Appendix C or the latest revision of
SSP-118.
