NOTE
•
Door locking may fail if there is too much laundry
in the machine or if the washer door is not
completely closed.
•
If the product is operating or the Drawer Lock
( ), indicator is displayed, the washer door
cannot open. To open the washer door, press the
Start/Pause button to stop the product, and when
Drawer Lock ( ), indicator turns off, open the
washer door. Do not force the door open.
•
If

or a warning sign appears
on the display, close the drawer and the washer
door completely. After doing so, press the Start/
Pause button.
•
If the drawer cannot be opened completely, pull
the drawer forward with a little force using both
hands.
•
If power failure occurs during product operation,
the washer door cannot be opened. Provide
electricity again or contact the LG service center.
(in case of boiling washing, the washer door may
not open after electricity is provided again due to
high temperature inside the washer).
•
If the washer door cannot open due to high
temperature, carry out rinsing with cold water
using the Rinse+Spin cycle or wait a while before
opening the door.
Handling Laundry
To prevent textile damages and product malfunctions,
make sure to obey the following instructions.
Checking Before Washing
• Check the Cautions for Handling tag attached to the
laundry and ensure water washing will not damage
the laundry.
• Zippers, hooks or buttons may damage other clothes,
so wash clothes with zippers, hooks, or buttons inside
out.
• Do not wash 'memory wire' on female inner wear (such
as a brassiere) as it may damage other clothes or the
washer and create noise.
NOTE
•
Using a washer for the following types of laundry
can cause shrinking or deformation. Check the
washing label before washing them.
•
Shoes, leather products, neck ties, suits, and
coats
•
Laundry with artificial wrinkles
•
Outer wear that contains textile or linings that
shrink or decolorize when contacted by water,
such as silk, wool, rayon, or acetate
•
Any types of laundry that can cause deformation
or discoloration when soaked in water (refer to the
washing labels)
