Using Detergents or Fabric
Softeners
Using Detergents
• Ensure to use detergent designed for a top load
washer, and use the provided detergent measuring
cup to add the suggested amount of detergent. If you
use more than the suggested amount of detergent,
undissolved detergent may accumulate inside the
washer, causing odor.
• Use the provided detergent measuring cup to add only
one cup of detergent.
• Reduce the amount of detergent for lightly soiled
laundry. If you use too much detergent, excessive
bubbles will remain after rinsing.
• Good quality water (soft water) has excellent washing
power but will create a large amount of bubbles. If this
is the case, reduce the amount of detergent.
• Use less liquid detergent than solid, as liquid detergent
dissolves easily in water and creates a large amount
of bubbles.
• Natural soap powder does not dissolve well in water,
and can easily cause clogging. If using it in cold water,
it can cause leakages or malfunctions. Make sure to
use lukewarm water with natural soap powder.
• If the detergent is lumpy or is in clumps, grind it into
powder before use.
NOTE
•
Stains on inner wear (cotton) or baby clothes are
mostly fats or proteins. Instead of using a large
amount of detergent, it is more effective to use a
cycle that washes at high temperature such as
Intimates or Baby Wear cycle.
•
The water supply time is short, so make sure to
add detergent before washing begins.
•
As lint, fabric softeners, or zeolite in laundry
is discharged, the high-speed rotating pump
propeller can create fine bubbles that make the
water look murky. Even if the drained water looks
murky, it does not mean that rinsing is incomplete.
•
If you use too much fabric softener, excessive
bubbles will remain after rinsing, causing an
increase in rinsing time. In addition, you may see
some bubbles even after the final Spin cycle has
been completed.
