Installing the Water Drain Hoses
•
You need to install the water drain hose on firm and
flat ground by smoothly lowering it. The height of the
water drain hose should not be higher than 1 m from
the ground.

Ensure the hose clip is inserted.

Insert and push the water drain hose onto the drain
outlet with the water drain hose facing upward.

Fix the hose clip at the end of elbow hose to
prevent the water drain hose from being pulled out.

CAUTION
•
Incorrectly connecting the water drain or supply
hose may cause the following problems.
– Water leakage at the joint of the water supply
hose on the washer side
– Water leakage at the joint of the water supply
hose on the water faucet side
– Drain pump failures

If the water drain hose installation location is too
high, bent or pressed, or if the tip is soaked in
water, draining may malfunction.
•
When connecting and using the water drain hose,
the total connected length should not exceed
3 m. Otherwise, draining or spin-drying may
malfunction.
Using the drain connector
Connect the drain hose of the full-size washer and
the pedestal washer to the drain connector. Insert the
included wire hose clamps on to the ends of the two
drain hoses. Push the drain hoses firmly onto the drain
connector. Adjust the wire hose clamps to prevent the
hoses from coming loose or leaking. Failure to do so
could result in flooding. Use of the drain connector helps
avoid siphoning, odors, or improper draining.
