Static Pressure Compensation
Function (Fn2)
Static Pressure Compensation function modifies the maximum
outdoor unit fan speed during normal system operation. Use the
function to raise the maximum outdoor unit fan speed to compensate
for an obstruction (duct) in airflow.
The default outdoor fan external static pressure rating for Multi V 5
Outdoor Units is 0.16 in-wg. Selecting “op3” raises the fan speed to
produce the same airflow at 0.32 in-wg.
Refer to the Multi V Engineering Manuals for the default static
pressure rating, and the maximum static pressure rating with this
function engaged.
For use on both heat pump and heat recovery systems.

Select from “oFF”, “op1” through “op3” options (see table) by using the
6:&IRUZDUGŹEXWWRQDQGWKH6:&EDFNZDUGŻEXWWRQ
DQGWKHQSUHVVWKH6:&FRQILUPƔEXWWRQ
Press the SW01D Reset Button one (1) time to reset PCB.
The selected option value is saved in the EEPROM.

• Ask a trained LG service provider to set this function during system
installation.
• If the outdoor unit RPM is changed, cooling capacity could be
reduced.
