Configure the Update Server
1. At the
Update Command >
prompt, type
ucfg
and press
Enter
.
2. At the
Enter update protocol (ftg or tftp) [ftp]:
prompt, either press
Enter
to accept the default value (i.e., the current setting) in square brackets or type the new
update protocol to use (ftp or tftp) and press
Enter
.
3. At the
Enter update host IP address [136.166.60.106]:
prompt, either press
Enter
to accept the default value in square brackets, or type the IP address of the PIVD100R
and press
Enter
.
4. (FTP only) At the
Enter update user name [update]:
prompt, type the name for the
update user.
5. (FTP only) At the
Enter update user password [update]:
prompt, type the pass-
word for the update user.
Exit the Update Menu
At the
Update Command >
prompt, type
exit
and press
Enter
to exit the Update Menu and
return to the PIVD100R Main Menu

prompt.
Pro:Idiom Menu Commands
The following subsections describe how to access and use the Pro:Idiom Menu commands.
Access the Pro:Idiom Menu
Note:
You will need to know the Pro:Idiom password to enter this menu. If this is the first time
the menu is being accessed, contact LG for the password. Otherwise, if necessary, obtain the
password from the system administrator.
1. Log in to the PIVD100R as described on page 37.
2. At the
Command >
prompt, type
pi
and press
Enter
.
3. At the
Enter PI password >
prompt, type the Pro:Idiom password and press
Enter
.
4. At the
P:I Command >
prompt, either:
• Press
Enter
to display the Pro:Idiom Menu (see example on following page).
• Type the desired command and press
Enter
.
Note:
You can always press
Enter
at the
P:I Command >
prompt to display the Pro:Idiom
Menu.
