Select the STB Type
1. At the
Setup Command >
prompt, type
type
and press
Enter
.
The system will display a list of the available STB types, followed by a prompt for the new
STB type, for example:
Available STB types:
1 - Dish
2 - DirecTV
Enter number of new STB type [1]>
2. At the prompt, either press
Enter
to accept the default value (i.e., the current setting) in
square brackets, or type the number that corresponds to the appropriate STB type and
press
Enter
.
The system will confirm your selection. If you change the STB type, you will also be
prompted to reset the PIVD100R, for example:
STB type is set: DirecTV
Please reset the system
3. If prompted to do so, make sure to reset the system before you exit the current session. If
you are ready to reset the system immediately, at the
Setup Command >
prompt, type
reset
and press
Enter
(see “Reset the System” on page 56 for further information).
Note:
If you intend to modify additional configuration settings during the current session,
you may wait until all changes are complete before you reset the system.
Set the Output Mode
1. At the
Setup Command >
prompt, type
omode
and press
Enter
.
The system will display a list of the available output modes, followed by a prompt for the
new output mode, for example:
Available output modes:
1 - RF
2 - IP
Enter number of new output mode [1]>
2. At the prompt, either press
Enter
to accept the default value (i.e., the current setting) in
square brackets, or type the number that corresponds to the appropriate output mode and
press
Enter
.
The system will confirm your selection, for example:
Output mode is set: RF
3. Complete the appropriate configuration, depending on the output mode. Refer to “Configure
the RF Output” on page 50 or “Configure the IP Output” on pages 50 to 53, as applicable.
