8.5.2 Display Real Time Information
WARNING
Block the cow traffic to the COSMIX S before you do this procedure.
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. In the main menu, select 'Testing' and push button [ ].
2. Select 'RealTimeInfo' and push button [ ].
The display shows:
•
the tag ID of the identified cow
•
the content of the feed bin
•
the cows credit
•
the amount food the cow has already eaten.
•
the status of the feed detection system (FDS): 'Off' or 'On'
•
the 'empty feed bin value' (EFB).
8.5.3 Test the Tag-ID
WARNING
Block the cow traffic to the COSMIX S before you do this procedure.
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. In the main menu, select 'Testing' and push button [ ].
2. Select 'Tag id' and push button [ ].
The display shows:
•
the tag ID of the identified cow
•
a value 1 if the cow is detected by the (optional) photocell.
3. Push button [ ].
8.5.4 Test the Dosing Units
WARNING
Block the cow traffic to the COSMIX S before you do this procedure.
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. Make sure the feed funnels are not empty.
2. In the main menu, select 'Testing' and push button [ ].
3. Select 'Valves/Blocker' and push button [ ].
4. Select 'Valve 1' and push button [ ].
5. Make sure the dosing unit gives the correct food type.
6. If the COSMIX S has two or more feed types:
1. Select 'Valve 2' and push button [ ].
