5.3 Install the COSMIX S
CAUTION
Wear safety shoes.
5.3.1 Preparation
CAUTION
This pro c edure requires a minimum of two persons.
CAUTION
Hold the side fen c es while unpa c king the parts.
1. Unpack all parts.
2. Remove the two pipes with the text "For transport only" and the
four T-clamps from the portals.
5.3.2 Install the Side Fences on the Portals
Parts

2× Side fence
•
1× Front portal
•
1× Rear portal
•
4× Bracket set (1.5 in×1.5 in)
•
16× Bolt, washer, nut
•
4× T-clamps.
Installation
CAUTION
This pro c edure requires a minimum of two persons.
1. Put the front portal (1, fig. 14, page 5-5) on the floor, hold it.
Note:
The front portal has a small mounting strip on top of it.
2. Loosely install both side fences (6) with the four bracket sets (5) on
the front portal with the bolts, washers and nuts.
3. Loosely install the four T-clamps (4) on the side fences with a 8 mm
Allen key (2).
4. Remove the four screws (3, fig. 15, page 5-6) from the T-clamps.
5. Lift both side fences and put screwdrivers or pins (5) in the holes in
the front portals to secure the position of the side fences.
6. Put the rear portal (1) on the floor, hold it.
