5.4.2 Connect the ID-Reader Cable
1. Find the cable to the ID reader.
2. Route the ID reader cable into the control unit.
3. Use a wire stripper to remove approximately 7 cm (2.7 in) from the
insulation.
4. Remove approximately 6 cm (2.3 in) from the shielding.
5. Turn the shielding back.
6. Use a wire stripper to remove approximately 1 cm (0.4 in) from the
inner insulation.
Qwes-ACT ID reader
1. Remove the screws and the clamp from the FSK pcb (2, fig. 31, page
5-20).
2. Install the cable connector on the pcb with the screw.
3. Install the cable with the clamp and the two screws on the pcb.
4. Make sure the clamp and the shielding are connected.
Qwes-LEG ID reader
1. Insulate the wire shielding with a piece of heat shrink.
2. Connect the wire shielding to the - antenna connector (5) on the
Velos box (bottom-right).
3. Connect the inner wire to the + antenna connector (5) on the Velos
box.
5.4.3 Connect the Feed Presence Sensor Cable

1× Cable with connectors (1.5 m or 59 in)
Connect
1. Feed the cable with the connector into the control box.
2. Connect the cable to connector (2, fig. 6, page 4-6) on the
multiboard.
3. Connect the other connector on the cable to the cable to the feed
presence sensor (1).
