5.3.7 Install the Feed Presence Sensor (Option) on the Feed Unit
Parts
•
1× Feed presence sensor
•
2× Screw
•
1× Cable with connectors (1.5 m or 4.9 ft)
Installation
1. Pull the springs on both sides of the feed hopper cover (1, fig. 37,
page 5-30), remove the cover (2).
2. Lift the feed funnel cover (3) and remove it.
3. If there is no hole in the bottom side of the feed funnel cover:
1. Drill a holes in the feed funnel cover (fig. 21, page 5-12).
4. Route the cable from the feed presence sensor (1, fig. 22, page
5-13) through the 16 mm hole.
5. Install the feed presence sensor on the feed funnel cover with the 2
screws (2).
