5.4 Installing the accessories
5.4.1 Installing the ice tray and buffer tray

• A lever ( → Fig. 11- 2 ) , which needs to be pushed forward, is located on the underside of the ice tray
(

Fig. 11- 1 ) .
• Now push the tray onto the dovetail holder (

Fig. 11- 3 ) from the front. Clamp it down by pushing the
lever (
→
Fig. 11- 2 ) towards the rear.
Note
The ice tray can be placed on the stage separately for preparation.
• Push the buffer tray (

Fig. 12- 5 ) in as far as it will go (small pins (

Fig. 11- 4 ) guide it at the side
and front).
It is held in place by three strong magnets, which are integrated into the bottom of the 2 buffer tray.

• Cover the buffer tray (

Fig. 12- 5 ) with a
Plexiglas lid (
→
Fig. 12- 6 ) .
• Now fill the ice tray with crushed ice.
• Cover the buffer tray and fill it with cooled
buffer solution.
Note
To remove the buffer tray from the ice tray, pull on the rounded edges (
→
Fig. 12- 7 ) carefully. They
help to remove the tray, as they are not magnetic.
