12. Trouble shooting
I cannot connect PAULA to local network.
Check if PAULA NUC PC and the tablet are connected to the same LAN
Please ask your local IT department for support and check that all necessary ports are open (->6.1)
Check if your IP address is valid (->8.4.2.1)
Poor live imaging speed when connected to tablet (Windows, Android, iOS)
There might be a temporarily high traffic on your local LAN.( many users)
Your local LAN features only 2.4 GHz (not 5 GHz as recommended)
For higher stability we recommend to use a permanent IP address for PAULA NUC PC ( please ask your local
IT department for support)
I cannot define when to notify me about the confluence status of my cells
Please switch to user management and enable “notify me” and define the exact time point in the control panel
for confluence check.
I cannot activate the barcode reader
Open specimen definition panel and activate the barcode icon
If this does not succeed you may need to start the system again. Shut down the NUC PC and re-start the sys-
tem.
The barcode reader stops working after 10 minutes
This behavior is intended. If the barcode reader is not used for 10 minutes the reader is deactivated again. If
you want to deactivate the barcode reader manually please click on the barcode reader icon in the specimen
definition panel.
I’m not able to see if new aps for cell based assays are available
If you want to see if new apps are available you need to connect PAULA to the internet.
I cannot log in
Check if another user is logged in
