5. Notes for the user
The PAULA system is an easy to use and easy to maintain digital device. However we recommend to read the
following notes in order to obtain a long life time span and best results.
Caution!
This instruction for use is an essential component of the product; it must be read carefully before the product
is assembled, put into operation or used, and must be kept for later reference.
Further pay attention to the following points:
Follow the directions for safety and care.
Read the user manual for PAULA
Read the user manual for the Intel NUC PC
Ensure that the Digital Imager is used only by persons authorized to do so.
Ensure that the Digital Imager user manual is always available.
Check on a regular basis that the users are complying with safety requirements.
If a defect that could cause personal injury is detected, inform your local Leica agency.
Ensure that electrical connections are plugged in tightly during use.
The Digital Imager can be operated via iOS/Android/Windows tablet/touch monitor. Make sure that the perfor-
mance matches the recommended performance.
Update your control device on a regular basis
