8.4.2 Control via iOS/ Android tablet or Windows tablet
Note:
You can use the NUC PC to set –up a local, ad-hoc (pairing) network which does not need a LAN. For this pur-
pose please connect a travel router and follow the instructions of the provider.
For any set-up a touch monitor (alternatively a monitor, keyboard, and mouse) is needed. This can be removed
later.
What do you want to do?
Connect PAULA to a LAN (-> 8.4.2.1)
Set-up local network with a travel router (-> 6.2)
8.4.2.1 Add the Digital Imager to a local area network (LAN).
Note:
Make sure that the LAN meets the minimum requirements for PAULA (-> 6.1).
Turn on NUC PC
Turn on your tablet, switch to App store and search for Leica Microsystems and download the PAULA App
from the app store. PAULA app icon will be visible on your screen.
Switch to set-up service of your tablet and select the local network you want to work with
Note:
Depending on your local IT policy you might be prompted to enter a password.
