Caution
Before use or after maintenance, make sure the reagent bottles are properly connected.
Note
Only HistoCore PEARL reagent bottles can be used.
Note
The connection port must be pushed into place with a click sound, thus ensuring an optimum fit in the
reagent cabinet.
Condensate bottle
•
The condensate bottle
has the exact same shape and connection design as a reagent
bottle.
•
It captures and collects condensate that forms in the system. A mark for the maximum level is on the
front side.

4.4.11 The bottom tray

The bottom tray is located below the reagent cabinet
. It collects reagents that have
overflowed or spilled. The bottom tray volumn is approximately 4 L.
The bottom tray must be regularly checked for signs of reagents that have leaked. To do so, use one
hand to pull the bottom tray out by the handle until you see the etched number, 20 cm; use the other
hand to support the tray from the bottom. Then pull out the whole bottom tray and empty it.
Caution
Dispose of waste reagent with care according to local regulations and the waste management policy of
the company or institution.
