Unpacking and installation

Caution 

The packaging has two indicators

 that indicate improper transport. When the 

instrument is delivered, check this first. If one of the indicators is triggered, the package was not handled 

as prescribed. In this case, please mark the shipping documents accordingly and check the shipment for 

damage.

Caution 

At least TWO persons are required when unpacking the instrument.
If the instrument is moved over stairs, please call your local Leica Biosystems Technical Service, who can 

safely transport it with appropriate equipment.

Caution 

DO NOT use the handles on the rear panel to carry, as they are not designed to bear the weight, but only 

for rolling the instrument.

Unpacking the instrument

Before unpacking the instrument, read the unpacking instructions carefully. They are attached to 
the outside of the transport packaging.

 

L

Sufficient surface area is required for unpacking the instrument. The distance to the nearest wall 
must be at least 1 m on the side and rear. On the front, the distance must be at least 3 m, as the 
HistoCore PEARL is rolled from the pallet in this direction.

 

L

Bring the instrument package as close as possible to the final installation location.
