Front Caster Wheel Installation
Refer to Figure 6-4:
1.
Align and install the wheel axle bolt though the fork,
axle bushing, and wheel.
2.
Secure the caster wheel fork assembly with the
flanged axle nut.
3.
Align and install the lower caster bearing into the
bottom bearing housing. With a bearing set tool seat
the bearing against the lower race.
Refer to Figure 6-5:
4.
Align the caster wheel pivot shaft with the lower
bearing and lower the front of the mower main frame.
5.
Install the bearing support bushing into the bearing
housing over the shaft.
Refer to Figure 6-6:
6.
Align and install the upper bearing into the bearing
housing. With a bearing set tool seat the bearing
against the upper race.
7.
Install the pivot washer and caster spindle hub cap.
Secure the caster spindle hub cap with bolt.
NOTE: Ensure bearing collars are installed face
down.
