Front Caster Wheel Removal
Refer to Figure 6-1:
1.
Ensure that control levers are set in the neutral
position and park brake is set for safety.
2.
Chock rear drive wheels to secure mower and
prevent movement while repairs are made.
3.
Loosen and remove the caster spindle hub cap bolt
and remove the hub cap.
Refer to Figure 6-2:
4.
Raise front of the mower main frame until the caster
wheel pivot shaft is clear of the bearing housing to
remove the caster wheel fork assembly.
5.
With the caster wheel pivot shaft removed, slide the
support bushing to the side and use a punch to tap
the bottom bearing out. The support bushing will
come out with bearing.

With a punch tap the upper bearing out of the caster
arm.
7.
Loosen and remove the caster wheel axle nut and
pull the axle bolt to remove wheel from the caster
wheel fork assembly.
