Fuel Tank Installation
Refer to Figure 5-10:
1.
Install the fuel tank outlet into the fuel tank. Insure
that the tube of the outlet is installed and secured
facing up and slightly forward.
2.
Align the fuel tank outlet with the frame and set the
tank on the fuel tank support arm. Secure the front of
the tank by loosely installing the inner front tank bolt.
Refer to Figure 5-11:

Align the fuel tank with upper pedestal and loosely
install the two upper pedestal bolts.
4.
Align and install the fuel tank support arm bolts and
tighten snugly against the support arm.
Refer to Figure 5-12:
5.
Tighten all fuel tank bolts snugly against the frame.
Do not over tighten bolts as they will strip the inserts
out of the fuel tank.
6.
Install the fuel lines. See “Fuel Valve and Hose
Installation” on page 28.
NOTE: Do not tighten bolts until all tank bolts have
been installed and the fuel tank has been aligned.
NOTE: For the installation of the right hand fuel tank
it will be necessary to reinstall the control panel. See
“Control Panel Installation” on page 12.
