An error message is displayed on the com-
puter screen while transmission is per-
formed.
“Network error has occurred.”
“Communication time out has occurred.”
“FAX connection has been cut.”
“FAX connection could not be made for the
following possible reasons:
*The FAX main unit isn't turned on.
*Network FAX address is wrong.
*A fault has occurred at the FAX machine.”
A connection error
of scanner NIC oc-
curred while data
was transmitted.
A network cable
was disconnected
while data was
transmitted.
Transmission failed
because data
amount (traffic) on
the network was too
large.
The fax system is
not installed.
Self dignostic code
C0280 occurred.
The fax software is
not compatible with
the NW-FAX func-
tions.
The main PCB of
the machine is not
compatible with the
NW-FAX functions.
NIC is being initial-
ized.
Self dignostic code
of NIC occurred.
A network cable is
disconnected.
The power switch is
OFF.
The IP address or
host name is not
correct.
Connect the scanner NIC properly.
Connect the network cables of the computer
and the machine properly.
Retransmit after a while.
Contact the network administrator for check.
Install the fax system.
Check the connection of the flat cable.
Upgrade the software.
Replace the main PCB.
Retransmit after a while.
RTC memory is not mounted or connection
is not proper. Check the connection.
Connect the network cables properly.
Turn ON the power switch.
Check the IP address and host name regis-
tered in the FAX Driver and those registered
in the scanner NIC.
