V-belts
The V-belts are changed in the
following way:
•
Remove the guard.
• Remove the spring catch.
• Tighten the nut until the V-
belts are correctly tightened.
• Check that the V-belts can be
depressed by approx. 15 mm
(19/32”) between the V-belt
pulleys as shown.
• Tighten the bolts.
• Loosen the bolts.
• Loosen the nut until all the V-
belts are slack.
• Remove the old V-belts.
• Fit the new V-belts.
• Fit the spring catch.
• Fit the guard
