Adjusting the working height
• Check that the machine's
cutting unit is in the working
position.
• The tractor's hydraulic outlet
must be locked in the open
position (floating position).
• Raise/lower the machine until
the measurement shown is
obtained.
• Check that the hitch is fitted
horizontally on the tractor.
Model 124 only;
•
For tractors without hydraulic
floating position (hydraulic
outlet locked in the open
position), the following must
be carried out when the
machine is correctly fitted on
the tractor:
• Check that the machine's
cutting unit is in the working
position.
• Hold the tractor's hydraulic
outlet open for a few seconds.
• Check that the pin bolt is in
the middle of the hole on the
hydraulic cylinder.
• The machine can be equipped
with a chain to prevent the
tractor's lift arms from
lowering. The chain is fitted
between the highest point on
the tractor and one of the lift
arms.
If the machine is fitted with
high skids (option) the
working height of the hitch
must be 440 - 470 mm
(17 5/32” - 18 1/2”). • The spring catch keeps the
machine in position in relation
to the tractor. If the machine
meets an obstacle, the catch
is released, and the machine's
cutting unit will swing behind.
• Check that the spring is
tightened as shown.
• The spring has to be fitted on
the tractor side, not near the
belt cover.
• Spring has to be pointed into
the direction of the cutter bar
as shown on the picture
