• Assemble bearing (18), gear
(19), shims (26),(14), washer
(20). (without oil seal 22)
• Assemble bolt (21) and
tighten manually.
• Hit the pinion shaft (25) from
both sides in order to set the
axis.
• Check the axis preload value
that must be with a clearance
0÷0.05 mm.
• If the value is not correct
change shim setting (23) fig.
2.1, in order to obtain the right
value.
Tools : Chisel, hammer, snap ring
pliers, fork wrench n°17, caliper,
dynamometric wrench, pipe.
• Assemble taper roller bearing
(24) on pinion shaft (25), using
chisel and hammer.
• Insert pre-assembled pinion
shaft (25) inside housing.
• Assemble shim (23) and snap
rings (17),.
• Disassemble bolts (21),
washer (20), shims (14),(26),
gear (19) and bearing (18).
• Assemble oil seal (22),
bearing (18), gear (19).
• Assemble the largest shim
(26) against pinion shaft (25)
surface, shim (14), bolt
washer (20).
• Put a Loctite 270 film on
thread bolt.
• Assemble bolt (21) and
tighten to 5÷6.4 kgm.
Warning : Disassembled
shims if not damaged, must
to be assembled in the same
positions.

• Assemble parallel key (6) on
shaft (11), gear (5) and inner
ring (8), using pipe and
hammer.
• Assemble inner ring (3) on
shaft (11), using pipe and
hammer.
