Alignment discs Wearing soles/skids
• Inspect the timing of the discs.
Out of timing could be caused
by an impact of foreign
objects. If so, please check
the key in the hub.
• Carry out a visual inspection
of the machine's stone guard
and counter knife for wear
with the cutting unit in the
headland position.
• Stone guards and counter
knives with visible holes
caused by heavy wear must
be replaced immediately.
Note;
Stone guards are the same for
all models but not the counter
knives as the distance between the
hubs is not the same for all
models.

Cone Quick fit
• If the machine is fitted with
knife quick release*, the same
requirement applies for bolt
wear and torque.
Wearing quick fit
• Every season; remove the top
cover on the cone.
• Clean any dirt from inside the
cone.
• Fit the top cover on the cone.
Note ; In case of assembling a
(new) cone; use Loctide 242 and
tighten all bolts crosswise up to
the correct torque of 80 Nm (59
ft/lb). After last bolt has been
done check the first one again!
