Operation

The springs on both sides of the machine must be set the same.

The roller pressure is adjusted as follows:

Right-hand side



Use the appropriate tool and remove the shown counter nut
located near the spring.



Place a tool in the spring's clamping plate.



Place a tool in the spring's clamping plate.



Use the tool on the spindle and tighten the spindle.

•

Turning the spindle clockwise increases the pressure of the rollers
on the crop.

•

Turning the spindle counterclockwise decreases the pressure of
the rollers on the crop.

It is recommended that the springs be adjusted about 5 mm (

’’) at

a time, after which the pressure of the roller against the crop is tested.



Tighten and secure the counter nut and the spring following final
adjustment.
