3.2.2 Long horizontal pipes
•
Install on slightly ascending pipe section.
•
If not possible, ensure adequate velocity to prevent air, gas or vapor from collecting in upper
part.
•
In partially filled pipes, the clamp-on flowmeter will report incorrect flow rates, or not
measure.

CAUTION!

Ensure that the pipe is fully filled at all times.
•
Both ascending and descending flow direction is measurable.
•
Observe the required in- and outlets.
