Shutdown function
Pressing the power switch will display the message
asking you to select the desired shutdown type .
List of shutdown confirmation message buttons

Functions
[Standby]
Puts the system into standby state .
[Shutdown]
Shuts down the system .
[Cancel]
Cancels the shutdown .
When the security function is enabled, the [Logout]
button is displayed on the shutdown confirmation mes
-
sage .
To configure the security function, refer to "User Ac-
count Settings" of the "Operation Manual: Applica-
tions" .
IMPORTANT

• For longer and continued use of the system, it is
recommended to shut down the system at least
once every three days .
• If you use the system when the remaining battery
level is low, do not remove the AC adapter before
shutting down the system . Doing so may cause a
failure of the system .

• Executes Standby .
• Executes [End Study] instead during examination
and ends the examination .
• Saves the current system status in the memory, and
enters the energy-saving mode .
• To start up the system in a standby state, press
the power switch, which starts up the system in the
same manner as it does in the normal power-on
state .
IMPORTANT

• If the monitor is closed, the standby processing is
executed .
• Do not disconnect the battery during the standby
state or leave the system in the standby state for a
long period of time . If the battery runs out, memory
corruption can occur, and quick startup from a
standby condition becomes impossible .
