12. Carefully place the top plate over the swing
motor and align the dowel pins of the top
plate with the holes in the distributor plate.
See Fig. 8-17.
13. Carefully and slowly lower the top plate into
position on the swing motor and install, by
hand, the four top plate mounting bolts.
14. After the machine upper structure is
positioned for towing, remove cover again
and reinstall the swing brake springs.
Repeat steps 11~13 to lock the upper
frame into position for proper transportation.

10. Carefully remove all brake springs and place in a container filled with fresh, clean hydraulic oil.
Then, seal the container to prevent contamination. See Fig. 8-15.
11. Align the holes of the distributor plate in the swing motor until they are located toward the front
and back of the swing motor housing. See Fig. 8-16.

Make certain the top plate dowel pins and the distributor plate holes mesh together.
Avoid oil spills. Use containers, rags, and / or paper towels to contain any oil leakage. Dispose all
waste oils, fluids lubricants and other hazardous waste properly, according to government regulations.
