Removing acrylic panes.

Remove the tubes by turning each tube a
quarter to the right or to the left and then pull-
ing it out. Remove tubes from lower sockets
fi rst.
Attention
NOTE FOR MODEL T230
As the T230 is operated with electronic
starters, please note the following:
After having switched off the tubes, wait at
least one minute before switching them on
again, as otherwise the electronic starters may
get destr
oyed!
REMOVING STARTERS
You can recognize a faulty starter by the blackened
ends of the lamps or when the lamps can no longer
be started.
Operating a lamp with a faulty starter signifi cantly
shortens its service life. The lamp loses power and
may begin to fl icker under certain circumstances.
The starters are located in either one of the two lamp
sockets or are visible when the lamps are removed.

Turn 90° and remove from the socket.
Attention
Replace faulty starters immediately!
9.11 Interior unit lighting

DECORATIVE LIGHTING OF THE DOOR
For the purpose of decorative lighting, there is an
energy-saving lamp integrated in the door. If defec-
tive, replace this lamp as follows:
• Remove the acrylic pane of the door as described
in the chapter “Removing and installing the acrylic
panes” and remove the four central tubes.

• Then loosen the four screws of the base plate and
carefully remove the plate. (The tube is installed on
