Maintenance of Transmission
For ensuring the maintenance quality of transmission, the maintenance operation should be careful and
to keep the transmission clean in this time. The suitable maintenance tool should be chosen.
The common and basic safety regulations are also suitable to maintenance of AQ015 transmission.
For avoiding the tedious writings, the following explanations are common in a series of maintenance
process.
Transmission
When new transmission is installed, the lubrication oil must be sufficiently filled. The capacity and
specifications of lubrication oil see the specification table.
When the transmission is installed on the engine, it is noticed that the location pin is aligned the location
hole.
Sealant
The sealant must be changed. Before changed, the contact surface should be cleaned.
The bounding surface must be thoroughly washed.
If necessary, the sealant may be adopted.
Oil seal
Before installed, a lay of lubrication oil is slightly coated on the oil seal outside diameter. And the space
between oil seal lips is filled up with the lubricating grease.
After installed, the lubricating oil capacity of transmission should be inspected. If necessary, the lubricating
oil is added.
Clamping ring
The clamping ring is not excessively extended to avoid its deformation. If deformed, it is changed.
The clamping ring is ensured is completely jammed in the ring groove.
Bolt and Nut
The bolts or nuts on the transmission end cover and case are lossed and tightened by the means of diagonal
line.
The tightening force moment is suitable to the oil-free bolt and nut.
Bearing
When the needle bearing is installed, the thick and big wall side is toward the installation tool.
When installed, the bearings are lubricated with the transmission lubrication oil.
Before installed, the out ring of conical roller bearing is preheated to 100
℃
.
Same size of bearing out ring and bearing inner race can not be exchanged.
The conical roller bearings on the same shaft are exchanged at same time. The new bearing’s type should
be same as exchanged one.
Adjusting Shim
The adjusting shim set thickness should be repeatedly inspected on the several points with the vernier
caliper.
The adjusting shim should be inspected whether there are burred or damaged. If damaged, they must be
changed.
Synchronizer
1st and 2nd speed synchronizer ring are interchangeable.
When the synchronizer ring is used once again, it should be correspond to the gear that is used primarily.
When installed, the synchronizer ring is lubricated with the transmission lubrication oil.
Gear
Before the gear is installed, the gear should be washed and preheated to 100
℃
on the heating tray.
Lubrication Oil Level of Transmission
When the transmission assembly is installed, it is inclined to the left for 19
°
.
At this moment, though the oil capacity is normal when checking the oil level, the oil is also overflowed
from the sight hole. It might be not ideal effect to use the left oil to lubricating.
For ensuring the lubrication oil of AQ015 transmission is normally operation. The following points
should be noticed:

The transmission is sealed. Therefore, it is not necessary to inspect the oil level. The sealed condition of
transmission is inspected only (the lubricating plug is not loosed).
