Structural Type and Applicability
5T15AA is a kind of transverse mechanical transmission for middle and high grade cars, which is introduced
and absorbed by our company. It has five forward speeds and a reverse speed. The forward speeds adopt the
synchronizer shift, and the reverse speed uses the sliding gear meshing shift. The differential and the transmission
are designed as a integral one. The parts of housing adopt the ceralumin parts. Between housings use the special
sealant (does not need the sealing paper packing). The material of gears and shafts use the high-quality low-
carbon alloy steel with good hardenability and less deformation. The transmission has many advantages of
reliable shift, compact structure, light weight, good sealing performance, smooth driving, low noise and long
service life etc.
The transmission is mainly matched with CAC480 series of engines (single-point injection and multi-point injection).
Service and Operation
1.
When shifting, the clutch pedal should be fully clutched out, so that the shift lever is operated swiftly
after the transmission is separated from the engine torque.
2.
The low speeds should be adopted when uphill, downhill and turn. It is not allowed to glide car with
clutching out.
3.
When shift lever occurs operating trouble, the car should be stopped and to inspect cause. It is not
allowed to use the excessive push force on the shift lever.
