Note: The D shape of knob should be corresponding to the D shape shaft inside the
printer case.
2. Push firmly on the knob until it fits against the printer case.
1.5.2 Installing the Ribbon Cartridge
1. Before installing the ribbon cartridge, make sure the printer is turned off.
2. Unpack the printer cover to the backward position, and then pull up to remove it.
3. Unload the tear part. Impact the locked piece both sides of tear part, then pull up the cutter
shown as follows.
4. Slide the printhead to the middle of the printer.
Warning:
Never move the printhead while the printer is turned on; this can damage
the printer. Also, if you have just used the printer, let the print head cool for
a few minutes before you touch it.
5. Take out the ribbon, take the surface with a knob facing yourselft, and turn the
ribbon-tightening knob in the direction of the arrow to tighten the ribbon, so it is easier to
install.
