5. INSTALLATION
5.1 TOTEM POSITIONING
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Identify the desired place for positioning the totem.
2. Check that the flooring is regular, horizontal and flat and that the ceiling
height is at least 2 m.
3. Check that this location has a power socket (only for models from J2S Milan
onwards) and a LAN connection.
4. In the present case, check that the camera
(10.)
is not hit from the front by
direct light, which could compromise its correct operation. Likewise, make sure
that the display
(4.)
is not subjected to unpleasant light reflections.
5. Get a fisher with an external diameter between 8-10 mm and the relative
expansion screw. Make a hole (or two in the case of J2S Agrigento) in the floor
of depth and width suggested for the type of flooring in the fisher manual.
N.B. The J2S Agrigento totem requires two holes in the floor.
6. Open the lower door
(7.)
of the totem, extract the tank
(15.)
, unscrew and
remove the shelf for the tank
(16.)
. Centrally align the hole on the bottom of the
totem with the hole in the floor.
7. With a long screwdriver, screw the expansion screw into the fisher by placing
the screw in the appropriate hole in the totem. Make sure the totem is facing
the desired side before screwing.
WARNING
The overturning of the totem can cause serious or fatal crushing injuries. To
prevent the risk of the totem falling over, fix it to the ground by drilling one or
more holes in the floor and using one or more expansion screws, inserted in
the holes at the base of the totem. The ground fixing of the totem is strongly
recommended for any place and type of use. Check that the floor is optimal
to ensure a secure fixation. For the positioning of the totem it will be necessary
to obtain a fastening screw with its fisher. To choose the right mounting
accessories, contact a specialist dealer. Ground fixing must be carried out
by a qualified person, as if it is not carried out correctly it can cause injury or
damage.
