9. DISPOSAL
Totem and components
The totem must not be considered as normal household waste, but it is
mandatory that at the end of its life, or in the event of accidental breakage,
it is delivered to an appropriate collection point (ecological platform) for the
recycling of electrical or electronic appliances.
These components will then be disposed of according to the laws in force.
The disposal of the parts that make up the structure of the totem does not
require special precautions as they are not harmful materials. It is good to
remember to separate the various components by homogeneous groups
(paper and cardboard packaging, ferrous scrap, plastic waste, glass in
sheets...) and to place them in the appropriate containers at the ecological
platform.
The batteries used for the functioning of the gel dispenser (where provided)
must be disposed of in the appropriate collection containers.
By disposing of this product appropriately, you help avoid potential negative
consequences for the environment and health, which could result from
inappropriate disposal of the product. Recycling of materials helps to
conserve natural resources.
For more detailed information on recycling this product, contact the municipal
office, the local waste disposal service or the retailer from whom the product
was purchased. This provision is only valid in EU member states.
