Chapter 5

Launching a reflectometry 
test and displaying results

Once the configuration for acquisition and file storage has been defined, 
the instrument is ready to launch an OTDR measurement.

Pressing the

 key is all that is needed to start or stop an 

OTDR measurement on the T-BERD/MTS.

This chapter describes the different stages in a reflectometry measure-
ment made using an OTDR module. It then describes the functions avail-
able on trace(s).
