IMPORTANT
Do not overfill or spill oil
Always lower lift arms to check or
add oil.
To prevent burns, do not touch
muffler or muffler shield.
Temperatures may exceed 150 F (66 C)

WARNING
To prevent injury:
●
Always connect red battery cable to the positive (+)
post FIRST and the black cable to negative (–) post
LAST.
●
When removing the battery always remove negative
(–) cable FIRST and positive (+) cable LAST.
●
Avoid contact with battery acid.
●
Keep sparks and flames away from the battery.
●
Do not short circuit battery posts. Do not touch frame
or negative terminal when working on positive terminal.

DANGER
To Install the battery
1. Install the battery with terminals toward rear.
2. Secure battery to support.
3. Connect positive (+) (red) FIRST.
4. Connect negative (–) (black) LAST.
To use jumper cablee:
1. Stop the engine on vehicle with good battery.
2. Connect RED cable to positive (+) terminal on good
battery and positive (+) terminal on "discharged"
battery.
3. Connect the BLACK cable from negative (–) terminal on
good battery to frame of vechile with discharged battery.
4. Start the engine.

THIS RADIATOR CONTAINS
ANTI-FREEZE
PROTECTED TO -26 F (-32 C)
Mix equal parts of clean water and a premium
quality ethylene glycol based anti-freeze to
maintain the boil over, rust and corrosion
protection.
Drain and discard coolant yearly. Read manual
for additional instructions.
Radiator is under pressure. Remove
cap slowly to avoid personal injury

Parking Brake
1. Parking brake........On
2. Hydro pedal.....Neutral
3. Reel switch.........Off
4. Depress glow plug
switch for 3 to 5
seconds.
5. Start Engine.
1. Parking brake....Off
2. Reel switch.......On
3. Slowly depress hydro pedal.
4. Depress top of mow pedal to lower
and engage reels. Lift mow pedal
to raise and stop reels.
1. Engage parking brake
2. Turn backlap lockout key to backlap position
3. Turn all 3 backlapping nuts to neutral position.
4. Start engine. Set throttle to minimum idle speed.
5. Engage reels. Turn backlap nut on one reel to
backlap at desired speed.
6. With extreme caution apply lapping compound
with a long handled brush.
7. Turn backlap nut to neutral position
after backlapping is complete.
8. Repeat above steps on remaining reels.
1. Parking brake....Off
2. Slowly depress
hydro pedal.
1. Remove foor from
hydro pedal.
2. Engage parking brake.
3. Turn ignition to off.
4. Remove key.
Important:
When operating on inclines maintain engine speed and reduce forward
speed. Warranty is void if tractor is used for towing. Do not use start assist fluids.
Use of such fluids in the air intake system may be potentially explosive
or cause a 'runaway' engine condition that would result is serious engine damage.
