Expansion Connector Interfaces from FPGA
Expansion connector supports following interfaces from Cyclone V SoC FPGA Block.
General Purpose Clock Inputs
Expansion connector supports 2 General purpose clock input LVDS pairs to Cyclone V FPGA. If LVDS clock
input is not used, it can be used as 2 General purpose single ended clock input to Cyclone V FPGA.
General Purpose Clock Outputs
Expansion connector supports one General purpose clock output LVDS pair from Cyclone V FPGA. If LVDS
clock output is not used, it can be used as 2 General purpose single ended clock outputs from Cyclone V
FPGA.
General Purpose Receive LVDS Pairs
Expansion connector supports 11 General purpose receive LVDS pairs to Cyclone V FPGA. If Receive LVDS
Pairs are not used, it can be used as 22 single ended Input/output signals from Cyclone V FPGA.
General Purpose Transmit LVDS Pairs
Expansion connector supports 9 General purposes transmit LVDS pairs from Cyclone V FPGA. If Transmit
LVDS Pairs are not used, it can be used as 18 single ended Input/output signals from Cyclone V FPGA.
General Purpose Input/output
Expansion connector supports 5 single ended Input/output signals from Cyclone V FPGA.
SMBUS
Expansion connector supports SMBUS interface from Cyclone V FPGA. If SMBUS is not used, it can be used as
2 single ended Input/output signals from Cyclone V FPGA.
FPGA JTAG
Expansion connector supports Cyclone V FPGA’s JTAG interface for debug and Configuration purpose.
