Submersible pump

EN

(SP-900DWS)

This  machine  is  equipped  with  the  detachable

deaera tion  valve.  It  shall  be  necessary  to  unscrew

the nut (9), rinse the resilient piece (10) and the bail

valve  (11)  on  a  regular  basis.  Pay  attention  to  the

elasticity of the resilient piece (10) that shall be crack

free and undam aged.

Thermal shielding of motor

This machine is equipped with the thermal shield-

ing of the motor, that will switch the motor off when

overheated. After cooling down the machine will be

switched on automatically.

Operation

•  Connect the hose.

•  Should the operation in a well or similar site be

planned, the durable rope shall be attached to the

car rying  handle  (2).  It  shall  be  recommended  to

fasten the rope in such a way, so that no occasional

loosening knots or undoing hitches may occur.

•  Set the cable length for the automatic floating

switch (1).

•  Should the pumping be carried out in a natural

res ervoir, a solid item (e.g., a brick) is to be placed

on  the  bottom  for  the  purpose  positioning  the

machine on it.

•  Place  the  machine  into  working  position  by

lowering  it  on  the  rope  into  the  well  and  setting

onto the bot tom.

•  Plug the power cord in. The pumping will start in

a couple of seconds.

End of use

•  After  switching  the  machine  off  by  the

automatic floating switch (1) the power cable shall

be unplugged.

•  Lift the machine and detach the hose.

•  Pour the fluid out of the impeller’s chamber.

Transportation

Transportation  of  the  unit  is  done  using  the

appropriate handle.

Maintenance works

Before performing maintenance unplug

the power cord.

Instruction:  Regularly  performing  the  fol lowing

tasks will ensure long and reliable device operation.

•  Inspect the device on a regular basis in order to

de tect any visible damage, e.g., loose connections,

and worn or faulty parts.

•  Check  the  functioning  and  proper  installation

of  guards  and  safety  equipment.  Perform  any

required  maintenance  or  repairs  before  operating

the device.

Rinsing the impeller’s chamber

After handling the heavily contaminated fluids or

pumping out water with chemical additives (e.g.,

out of the swimming pool), the impeller’s cham-

ber shall be rinsed to avoid destructive influence

on the machine’s parts.

•  Loosen the screws (5) and take away the bottom

cover (6).

•  Rinse all parts in the impeller’s chamber

•  Replace  the  bottom  cover  (6)  and  tighten  the

screws (5).

Do  not  apply  the  excessive  force  while  tightening

the screws (5), in order not to cause damage to the

threaded joints.

Storage after use

The machine’s exterior surfaces should be cleaned

with a soft brush and cloth. Do not use solvents or

pol ishing compounds. All dirt shall be removed.

Frost  can  cause  damage  to  the  device

that that has not been fully drained. The

device  should  be  stored  in  a  frost-free

environ ment.

Troubleshooting

The

table

below

offers

troubleshooting

recommenda tions.

Caution: Before troubleshooting switch

the device off and unplug the cable.

The machine runs, but doesn’t pump the fluid.

•  Air  is  not  removed  due  to  the  hose  kink.

Eliminate the kink of the hose.

•  Air is not removed out of the impeller’s chamber

►

Wait for 3 minutes, until deaeration takes place. If

necessary, switch the machine off and on again.

•  The impeller’s chamber is clogged up.

 Switch

the  machine  off  and  cleanse  the  impeller  from

inside.

The machine cannot be started or stops suddenly

in course of operation.
