Inserting
the lithium-ion batteries

CAUTION
Risk of injury due to incorrect lifting of the lithium-ion batteries
The lithium-ion batteries are heavy. Incorrect lifting of the lithium-ion
batteries leads to ergonomic hazards.
•
Lift the lithium-ion batteries without straining your back (see also
the note at the start of this section).
•
Only ever lift the lithium-ion batteries with the assistance of a
second person.
•
Wear protective gloves when lifting the lithium-ion batteries.

Lift the lithium-ion battery out of the box at the gripping points (1).
Make sure that the protective caps are fitted on the poles of the lithium-ion batteries.
Also make sure not to touch the poles.
Slide the lithium-ion batteries into the fire-protection modules.
WARNING
Danger due to falling lithium-ion batteries
When carrying the lithium-ion batteries, there is a risk that these could fall.
If this occurs, keep your distance from the lithium-ion battery and observe
Section “2.5.3 Dangers due to lithium-ion batteries”.
•
Contact the Hoppecke Service Competence Center (see Section
“1.5 Service/customer service”).
•
The affected lithium-ion batteries must not be used under any
circumstances.
