5.8 Power cabling of the lithium-ion batteries

Put the safety caps back on.
•
Use the 340-mm-long cell connector to connect connection B- on the battery
management system (BMS) to the negative pole (-) of battery module 1 (Bat 1).
•
Put the safety caps back on.
The subsequent steps involve the laying of the 560-mm-long cell connectors as follows:

Use the 560-mm-long cell connector to connect the positive pole (+) of battery
module 1 to the negative pole (-) of battery module 2.
•
Put the safety caps back on.
•
Use the 560-mm-long cell connector to connect the positive pole (+) of battery
module 2 to the negative pole (-) of battery module 3.
•
Put the safety caps back on.
•
Use the 560-mm-long cell connector to connect the positive pole (+) of battery
module 4 to the negative pole (-) of battery module 5.
•
Put the safety caps back on.
•
Use the 560-mm-long cell connector to connect the positive pole (+) of battery
module 5 to the negative pole (-) of battery module 6.
•
Put the safety caps back on.
•
Use the 560-mm-long cell connector to connect the positive pole (+) of battery
module 6 to the negative pole (-) of battery module 7.
•
Put the safety caps back on.
•
Use the 560-mm-long cell connector to connect the positive pole (+) of battery
module 7 to the negative pole (-) of battery module 8.
•
Put the safety caps back on.
•
Use the 560-mm-long cell connector to connect the positive pole (+) of battery
module 8 to the negative pole (-) of battery module 9.

Put the safety caps back on.
