Operation
The battery storage system is operated in automatic mode (normal operation).
The battery storage system doors must be kept closed at all times. If the doors stay open
for over 30 minutes, the battery storage system will enter into alarm mode. This status is
indicated by a light and acoustic signal output at 10-second intervals. Normal application
is not performed in alarm mode. The system can be started up again by performing a
reset.
This function must be deactivated for maintenance work by setting the power switch to
manual mode.
Resetting the system
To restart the battery storage system (system reset), the power switch must be set to
manual mode (Man) for seven seconds before then being set back to automatic mode
(Auto).
Safety measures in normal operation

The battery storage system must only be opened by persons who are qualified and/or
trained in this operation (see Section “2.2 Personnel requirements”).
–
There must be no unauthorised persons in or around the battery storage system.
–
No safety or protective devices may be removed or rendered non-functional.
–
No inflammable materials may be stored in the battery storage system.
–
The battery storage system must only be operated within its specific performance
limits.
Perform the following checks once a month:
–
Check the battery storage system for externally visible damage.
WARNING
Risk to health due to electromagnetic radiation!
During operation, there is a risk to the health of persons with medical
implants (e.g. pacemakers) as a result of electromagnetic radiation.

Persons with medical implants must not enter the battery storage system.
