sntp unicast client enable
The
sntp unicast client enable
Global Configuration mode command enables the device
to use the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) to request and accept SNTP traffic from
servers. To disable requesting and accepting SNTP traffic from servers, use the
no
form of
this command.
Syntax
sntp unicast client enable
no sntp unicast client enable
Default Configuration
The SNTP unicast client is disabled.

Use the
sntp server
Global Configuration mode command to define SNTP servers.
Example
The following example enables the device to use the Simple Network Time Protocol
(SNTP) to request and accept SNTP traffic from servers.
sntp unicast client poll
The
sntp unicast client poll
Global Configuration mode command enables polling for the
Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) predefined unicast servers. To disable the polling
for SNTP client, use the
no
form of this command.
