clear spanning-tree detected-protocols
The
clear spanning-tree detected-protocols
Privileged EXEC mode command restarts
the protocol migration process (forces renegotiation with neighboring devices) on all
interfaces or on a specified interface.
Syntax
clear spanning-tree detected-protocols

ethernet
interface
|
port-channel
port-
channel-number
]
Parameters

interface
— A valid Ethernet port.
•
port-channel-number
— A valid port-channel number.
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.

User Guidelines
This feature should be used only when working in RSTP or MSTP mode.
Example
The following example restarts the protocol migration process on Ethernet port 11.

configuration, use the
no
form of this command.
