11.1 MAINTENANCE PROMPTS
The maintenance prompt is a service warning that occurs when the unit
has been operated a certain number of hours, based on energized time.
These warnings are set prior to the dryer being shipped. They can not
be disabled.
Preventative Maintenance Warning
This warning occurs when the preventative maintenance interval has
been reached. The warning can only be cleared once the preventative
maintenance work is completed by an authorized Ingersoll Rand
technician.
11.2 MAINTENANCE CHART
The MAINTENANCE CHART indicates the various components and the intervals when the maintenance has to take place. Note that any Local or

11.3 MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
CAUTION
Before beginning any work on the dryer, read and understand the
safety instructions earlier on in this manual. Open, lock and tag
the main electrical disconnect and isolate the dryer from the air
system. Do not under any circumstances open any drain valve or
remove components from the dryer until this has been carried
out. Ensure that all pressure has been vented from the dryer.
CAUTION
When using any form of liquid for cleaning, ensure that all
electrical components are protected or covered to prevent
ingress of liquid.
WARNING
The dryer’s refrigeration system operates in a pressurised
shutdown mode. If the compressor stops, the system will contain
high pressure refrigerant. The refrigeration system must only be
opened by a qualified technician certified in handling refrigerants.
WARNING
Use suitable equipment for lifting heavy items and ensure loose
components are adequately supported to eliminate risk of
dropping.
